Maximum Entropy Method (MEM)

 

The Maximum Entropy Method, or All-Poles method, uses the partial autocorrelation coefficients according to Burgs algorithm to solve the equation:

where image004ac is the square mean error in the calculation of the autocorrelation coefficients, image006ac are the autocorrelation coefficients, image008ac is the z-transform, image010ac, and image012ac is the sampling interval.
