Select the chart series for your data by clicking the corresponding chart type:

Line

Plots the information as lines.

Bar

Plots the information as vertical bars.

Horizontal Bar

Plots the information as horizontal bars. Horizontal Bar series display horizontally along the y-axis in a chart. The given x-coordinates serve as end points for the horizontal bars at every y-location.

Area

Plots the information as areas. Area series have similar characteristics to Line series, except they fill the region under the curve.

Point

Plots the information as points.

Pie

Plots each value of a series as a radial section of a circle. Pie series require one component for plotting. Each value in the series is given a proportional piece of the pie.

Fast Line

Plots the information as lines. A Fast Line series is much the same as a Line series, although it does not have some Line series properties for faster display. This feature may not be noticeable for a small number of short series, but becomes apparent when the number of series, or their length, increases substantially.

Arrow

Plots the information as directed vectors. Arrow series require four components in two dimensions for plotting: the start and end points for the vectors.

Bubble

Plots the information as floating circles. Bubble series require three components in two dimensions for plotting: the x- and y-coordinates of every point plus a value for the radius of the circle at that point. This series is derived from the Point series.

NoteAll series in this list require two components for plotting, the x- and y-coordinates, unless otherwise specified.
