TAN(X)

 

Description

This function returns the tangent of angle X.  To convert the argument from degrees to radians, use the RADIANS function.

 

Parameters

A numeric value expressed in radians.

TAN(1) = 1.554707725

 

TAN(Y1) = 1.619775191

Where Y1 = 45.
