When you Copy worksheet cells, Predictive Systems Lab makes two copies of the information: one with the contents of the cells and another with internal program settings. In this context, we refer to the latter as Predictive Systems Lab's Private Clipboard.
Pasting information that was copied from Predictive Systems Lab to the standard Clipboard is available to all other programs in your computer that support Copy and Paste, including Predictive Systems Lab itself. On the other hand, pasting information from Predictive Systems Lab's private clipboard is only available to Predictive Systems Lab.
Except for formatting styles and formula expressions, the information retrieved through Paste and Paste Private is exactly the same. The difference between the two commands is the fact that Paste Private, in addition to moving the contents of cells, will also move the original formatting styles and underlying formula expressions, if any, from the Clipboard to the destination cells (see the figure below).
