Description
This function returns the population variance (N weighting) of its arguments. Blank cells and cells containing strings are ignored. The function is given by:
Parameters
<List>
Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges.
Examples
VAR(1, 2, 7) = 6.8888889
VAR(Y1:Y5) = 67.76
Where Y1:Y5 = 22, 24, 29, 34, and 45.
VAR(K6:K10) = 0.500824
Where K6:K10 = 1, .33, 0, -0.66, and -0.99.
