XOR(<List>)

 

Description

This function returns -1 if any argument is different from 0 or 1; 1 if the total number of arguments with the value 1 is odd; 0 if the total number of arguments with the value 1 is even.  Text and blank cells are ignored.

 

Parameters

 

<List>

Any combination of numbers, cells, or ranges.

 

Examples

 

Given:

 

A1 = 1, B1 = 1, C1 = 0, D1 = 0, E1 = 1 and A2 = 24

 

XOR(A1, B1) = 0

 

XOR(A1:E1) = 1

 

XOR(A1:A2) = -1
