In Predictive Systems Lab, the status bar is displayed at the bottom of the main program window. To display or hide the status bar, use the Status Bar command on the View menu.

 

The left area of the status bar describes actions of menu items as you use the arrow keys or the mouse to navigate through menus. Similarly, this area shows messages that describe the actions of toolbar buttons as you click them, before releasing them. If, after viewing the description of the toolbar button command, you decide not to execute the command, release the mouse button while the pointer is off the toolbar button. This area of the toolbar also displays progress reports during file input and output, copy and paste and other operations.

 

The right areas of the status bar indicate which of the following modes are active:

RowDisplays the row number of the currently selected cell.
ColDisplays the column number of the currently selected cell.
CAPThe Caps Lock mode is active.        
NUMThe Num Lock mode is active.        
SCRLThe Scroll Lock mode is active.
