When you instruct Predictive Systems Lab to chart data, a new window created for the chart. Chart windows consist of a title bar, a panel, a legend, a header and a footer, a left axis, a bottom axis, a depth axis, a chart rectangle, and plotted series.

 

Title Bar

Displays meaningful information related to the data that was originally charted.

Refer to Title Bar for additional information on title bars.

 

Panel or Canvas

Window surface where the chart elements are displayed.

 

Legend

Displays the color legend and name of the plotted series.

 

Header

User-defined text, optionally displayed at the top-left, top-center, or top-right area of the panel.

 

Footer

User-defined text, optionally displayed at the bottom-left, bottom-center, or bottom-right area of the panel.

 

Chart Rectangle

Region of the panel where chart series are plotted.

 

You can choose to customize any of the listed chart elements using the Chart Settings dialog box, which also includes options for the customization of chart series. You can copy snapshots of a chart to the Clipboard or save chart images to a file of your choice. You can also print or save your charts for reference or later use.
