Base Styles dialog box |

Use this dialog box to modify and add base formatting to your Predictive Systems Lab documents (see Formatting Documents in Predictive Systems Lab).
Lists the available base styles. You can select one of the available base styles for modification, or you can create personalized base styles by typing a new name in the associated box.
On default, three base styles are available for all Predictive Systems Lab documents:
· | The Column Header style |
Specifies the column header formatting style.
· | The Row Header style |
Specifies the row header formatting style.
· | The Standard base style |
Specifies the base style for all other styles.
Displays the Format Styles dialog box to specify settings for a newly created base style. To create a base style, type a new name for the style in the box at the top of the list and click Add.
![]() | All new base styles inherit their settings from the Standard base style. You cannot change this behavior, but you can override standard settings in the new style, or alternatively modify the Standard base style directly. If you choose to change the Standard base style, however, note that the appearance of the other sheet elements may also be changed. |
Displays the Format Styles dialog box to modify the settings of the currently selected base style.

Removes the currently selected base style.
![]() | You are not allowed to remove any of the default base styles previously mentioned. |
Sets the currently selected style to its default settings.
Click this button to close the dialog box and save any changes you have made.
Click this button to close the dialog box without saving any changes you have made.
