NoteUser functions can be used as part of other operations within Predictive Systems Lab documents (see Defining User Functions in Predictive Systems Lab for details). A function marked as locked,LockIcon, is not available for editing or deleting within the context of the document using the function. You can edit or delete the function from within other Predictive Systems Lab documents without affecting the locked copy. However, deleting a locked function from within the context of another Predictive Systems Lab document will have no long-term effect because the function is added back to the list when the lock is released. Conversely, if you modify a locked function under these circumstances, the modified version remains as final once the function lock is released.
