Frequency Custom Specification page (Digital Filter Design wizard) |
![]() ![]() ![]() |
Use this page to specify the minimum detectable bandwidth of custom designed filters. By specifying a minimum transition bandwidth and a number of points for the indicated bandwidth, you can tailor filters to an acceptable level of design detail.
![]() | The final level of detail is dependent on the length of the filter. |
Use these tabs to graphically specify bandpass and bandstop regions for the filter you want to design. Use the Magnitude tab to specify pass, stop and transition frequency regions and the Phase tab to specify shifts at those frequencies. If you are unsure of manipulating phase values, set these values to zero for all frequencies.
Use this graph to specify magnitude values in the frequency domain for the filter you want to design.

Use this graph to interactively specify phase values in the frequency domain for your filter you want to design.

Resets the values of the currently active tab to default.
![]() | On reset, magnitude values are set to one and phase values are set to zero. |
