Using Flexible Graphs

Top  Previous  Next

Flexible graphs are a special kind of graph in Predictive Systems Lab that allow users the interactive specification of points.

Three operations are possible in flexible graphs for:

1.Creating Points

Move the mouse pointer over the graph until the mouse pointer changes to cross hairs, CrossHairCursorSm, and a tip window displays showing the coordinates of the graph point under the mouse pointer. Click the left mouse button at any one of these positions along the graph to create a new flexible point in the graph.

2.Moving Points

Move the mouse pointer over any of the existing flexible points until the mouse pointer changes to a four-headed arrow, SizeCursorSm, and a tip window displays showing the coordinates of the flexible point under the mouse pointer. Click and hold the left mouse button to drag any one of these points around the chart area.

3.Deleting of Points

Move the mouse pointer over any of the existing flexible points until the mouse pointer changes to a four-headed arrow, SizeCursorSm, and a tip window displays showing the coordinates of the flexible point under the mouse pointer. Click the right mouse button to delete any of the existing points in the graph.
