Import File Description page (Import File Description wizard)

 

Use this page to specify the import file type and the recovery procedure to follow when errors are detected.

 

Import File Name

Displays the name of the selected import file as a reference.

 

File Type

 

ANSI Data File

Select this option to specify that the import file is an ANSI data file.

 

Binary Data File

Select this option to specify that the import file is a binary data file.

 

Error Recovery

 

Keep Read Data Only

Select this option to specify that when an error is detected you want to stop the import process and retain all the information that was read to that point.

 

Try to Recover

Select this option to specify that when an error is detected you want to continue the import process and retain all salvageable information.

 

Fail if no Recovery

Check this box to specify that when an error is detected you want to continue the import process and retain any salvageable information if recovery from the error is possible.

 

 

Fail on any Error

Select this option to specify that when an error is detected you want to stop the import process without retaining any information.
