Solution Modification dialog box |
![]() ![]() ![]() |
Use this dialog box to change the name of a solution or modify its class definition and options.
Method
Specifies the current name of the solution. To change the name of the solution, type a new name in this box .
Indicates the method class associated with this solution. Select one of Global Least Squares, Global Multilayer Perceptron, Local Averaged, Local Least Squares, Local Multilayer Perceptron, or Weighted Least Squares from this list.
![]() | This option can only be specified during the creation of a solution using the New command in the Solution Methods dialog box. |
Displays a dialog box corresponding to the currently selected method class so you can specify its definition:
Averaged Nearest Neighbors dialog box
Allows you to specify definition parameters for local averaged methods.
Global Least Squares dialog box
Allows you to specify definition parameters for global least squares methods.
Local Least Squares dialog box
Allows you to specify definition parameters for local Least Squares methods.
Allows you to specify definition parameters for multilayer perceptron methods.
Weighted Least Squares dialog box
Allows you to specify definition parameters for weighted least squares methods.
Displays a dialog box corresponding to the currently selected method class to specify settings for resolving the method:
Allows you to specify the type of solution and the data to use for the regression of global least squares methods.
Allows you to specify training options for multilayer perceptron methods.
![]() | This command is only available to the global and local multilayer perceptron methods. |
Displays the Solve Global Least Squares dialog box to inspect the statistics from the solution of the method or to change the options until achieving satisfactory results.
![]() | This command is only available to static global least squares methods. |
Use this command to discard the solution for the current global least squares method. This command will prompt you to confirm you want to discard the solution for the selected method.
![]() | This command is only available to static least squares methods. |
Displays the Heuristic Neural Training dialog box to train global multilayer perceptron methods with little supervision.
![]() | This command is only available to global multilayer perceptrons. |
Displays the Manual Neural Training dialog box to train the current global multilayer perceptron method manually. Use this command to take advantage of the full range of training options or to inspect presentation errors. Because of the level of detail reported in this command, this training method is several times slower than Heuristic Training.
![]() | This command is only available to global multilayer perceptrons. |
Use this command to discard all training for the current global multilayer perceptron method. This command will prompt you to confirm youwant to discard all learning from the selected method.
![]() | This command is only available to global multilayer perceptrons. |
